Senpai!! || Kageyama Tobio (2)

For someone who was so excited for lunch period, Kageyama Tobio finds himself shifting on his feet outside of the second year classroom. He’s nervous and a little bit embarrassed as he shuffles towards the door and back away from it countless times.


Come on Tobio! You can’t see her unless you open the door!


Unfortunately for him, the boy that made fun of him in the morning opens the door and almost runs into Kageyama on the other side. The shorter boy pushes past the setter, bumping shoulders and Kageyama’s almost certain the second year is trying to threaten him with his glare as he leaves the room.


“Just because she likes tall boys doesn’t mean shit, first year.”


Kageyama’s about to grab the older boy’s shoulder and send him the glare he gives Hinata when Hinata pisses him off, but he’s cut off by you walking over to the door’s threshold and inviting him in to sit with you. Even just the sight of you makes his breath catch and he finds himself powerless to you.


“Sorry about asking you here instead of outside when it’s such a lovely day, Kageyama-kun.”


You’re lovely, senpai…


“Did you bring your English tests? I want to see where you’re having the most problems.”


The setter nods and quickly reaches in his bag to pull out the papers, although he’s a little embarrassed as you grab them and give a look of surprise. His grades on each of them are absolutely horrendous.


“K-Kageyama-kun…?” His blue eyes dart over to you, taking note of your blush and quickly looking away. After a moment he hears you chuckling softly into your hand, trying your best to be polite. “You… wrote penis instead of pencil.”


He can practically feel his embarrassment crushing him. Maybe if he stares at the floor long enough it'll engulf him and take him away from your laughing.
